In my experience, it's helpful for a committer to have a review from two
parties to make the decision to merge. In this case, this PR has gone through
a couple of hands (the original author, reviewer, and then I took it up), so it
shouldn't take much to get it into mergeable shape. As a dev that uses this
connector directly, your opinion is helpful!
In the longer term, to benefit from the community "weight" behind this
connector, it just needs a bit of attention (maintenance and support, bug
fixes, bumps). If you're interested in being involved, that would make (at
least) two of us :D That would be encouraging!
