Hi [~martijnvisser], maybe you, as the Reporter of the issue, will be able to 
answer the questions above about the assumptions behind MATCH_RECOGNIZE in 
batch mode? I might be willing to address at least some shortcomings (e.g. 
FLINK-33722).
