[~martijnvisser] Scala APIs are still exposed to end users, and according to 
FLINK-29739, they will be kept at least in Flink 2.0, as you said "we're 
breaking things with Flink 2.0 anyway", has upgrading to Scala 2.13 been 
considered instead of 2.12.19? Akka dropped Scala 2.12 since 2.10, Kafka 4 and 
Spark 4 also dropped Scala 2.12, and the whole Scala ecosystem is moving away 
from Scala 2.12
