[~dwysakowicz] I think it is necessary to revisit FLIP-295[1] to reconsider
whether this API should be deleted. Currently, I believe we should remove
`{{{}registerCatalog{}}}` from user visibility, as it doesn't integrate well
with `CatalogSt{{{}ore{}}}`.
A more appropriate name for it might be something like
`{{{}createTemporaryCatalog{}}}`, indicating that the created catalog will not
be persisted and[1] is only meant for temporary use in memory.
But anyway, this needs to be publicly discussed again. For 2.0.0, I will
refrain from deleting it for the time being. cc [~hackergin]
