@featzhang good catch. Overall we are still declaring the API has
PublicEvolving, so we can perform such changes. Of course we should avoid them.
I don't have a strong opinion here, not many used the `call("x")` syntax I
assume. The important thing is that CompiledPlan stays valid and it used the
SQL syntax `REGEXP_EXTRACT`.
