Backport of https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/28369 (adc9c1d1f61) and https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/28560 (97ad29b8ed4, 2440f65c9fd), which went to master but not to this branch. quay.io stopped serving `minio/minio` anonymously on 2026-09-24, after Docker Hub removed it (FLINK-40652), so `MinioTestContainerTest` and e2e group 2 fail on this branch. Left out: the files this branch does not have (HAApplication and s5cmd ITCases, the k8s Materialized Table script, the native S3 module), and the two wordcount entries master adds to `run-nightly-tests.sh`, so the nightly e2e set stays the same. `SeaweedFsTestContainer` keeps this branch's `s3.endpoint` constant, and the renamed wordcount cases keep the batch WordCount and this branch's fetch helper arguments. As on master, the readiness loop from 97ad29b8ed4 has no deadline, so a failed pull hangs the e2e stage. #29222 (FLINK-40662) adds one on master.
