Thanks for the reviews on #28879! @HuangZhenQiu @RocMarshal, would you mind taking a look at PR-3 of the stack ([FLINK-40294](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-40294)) when you get a chance? It's rebased onto master and out of draft now. This step extends the metrics to async scalar and table functions. An async invocation doesn't begin and end on the same thread, so the sampling decision and start timestamp are taken at dispatch on the task thread, and the elapsed time is recorded in the completion callback. That makes `udfProcessingTime` cover the full dispatch-to-completion span rather than just the synchronous hand-off. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
