## What Bump the bundled ZooKeeper in `flink-shaded-zookeeper-3.8` on the `release-21.0` line from `3.8.5` to `3.8.7`, and update its `NOTICE` file to match. JIRA: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-41076 (relates to FLINK-39570; see also #174 for Netty and #175 for Jackson) ## Why `3.8.7` is the current `3.8.x` maintenance release. Because `flink-shaded` bundles (relocates) ZooKeeper, consumers of `flink-shaded-zookeeper-3` can only pick up newer ZooKeeper releases via a rebuild of the shaded artifact from a bumped source branch. This is a patch bump within the `3.8.x` line already used by this module. Only the `3.8` module is changed. The `3.5`, `3.6` and `3.7` modules stay on their current versions, since those ZooKeeper lines have no newer release. ## Changes - **`flink-shaded-zookeeper-parent/flink-shaded-zookeeper-38/pom.xml`** — `zookeeper.version` `3.8.5` → `3.8.7`. The module's own version coordinate follows it, `3.8.5-21.0` → `3.8.7-21.0`, since it is declared as `${zookeeper.version}-21.0`. - **`flink-shaded-zookeeper-parent/flink-shaded-zookeeper-38/src/main/resources/META-INF/NOTICE`** — `org.apache.zookeeper:zookeeper` and `org.apache.zookeeper:zookeeper-jute` → `3.8.7`. No NOTICE entries are added or removed: the 17 artifacts bundled by `flink-shaded-zookeeper-38` (from the shade plugin's `Including …` output) match the NOTICE list one-to-one. The Netty and Jackson entries in this module's NOTICE are updated by #174, not here. ## Verification Built locally with Maven 3.9.4 / Java 21 against Maven Central, `mvn clean deploy -Plicense-check -Pinclude-netty-tcnative-static` on `flink-shaded-zookeeper-38` (with `-am`): - `BUILD SUCCESS`: `flink-shaded-zookeeper-3.8 3.8.7-21.0`. - `LicenseChecker` (`exec:java@check-license`): "License check completed without severe issues." - The shade plugin includes `org.apache.zookeeper:zookeeper:3.8.7` and `zookeeper-jute:3.8.7`. - `flink-shaded-zookeeper-38-3.8.7-21.0.jar` has 783 classes under `org/apache/flink/shaded/zookeeper3/org/apache/zookeeper` and 0 un-relocated `org/apache/zookeeper` classes.
