spuru9 opened a new pull request, #257:
URL: https://github.com/apache/flink-connector-jdbc/pull/257
## What is the purpose of the change
`main` has stayed at `4.0-SNAPSHOT` since FLINK-36659, although 4.0.0 and
4.1.0 have since been released from `v4.0` and `v4.1`. The next release from
`main` is 5.0.0, which is the fix version of FLINK-40746 and what its
`@deprecated Since 5.0.0` tags refer to. This bumps `main` to `5.0-SNAPSHOT`.
## Brief change log
- Set the project version to `5.0-SNAPSHOT` in the root `pom.xml` and all
modules with `versions:set`.
- Update the parent version of
`flink-connector-jdbc-backward-compatibility` by hand. It is not part of the
reactor, so `versions:set` does not reach it.
`docs/data/jdbc.yml` is left alone on purpose: #220 already sets it to
`5.0-SNAPSHOT` along with the rest of that file, and changing it here as well
would conflict.
## Verifying this change
- `./mvnw validate` passes for the reactor and for
`flink-connector-jdbc-backward-compatibility` on its own.
- No `4.0-SNAPSHOT` remains in the repository.
