spuru9 opened a new pull request, #29692:
URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/29692

   ## What is the purpose of the change

   release-1.20 no longer compiles with Java 8 since 770a086545b (the backport
of #29630), so every build on the branch fails in `compile_ci`, e.g. branch
builds 80738 and 80741:

   ```
   PythonTypeUtils.java:[1414,45] incompatible types: java.lang.Object[] cannot
be converted to PythonTypeUtils.DataConverter[]
   ```

   Through the raw `TupleTypeInfo` cast, javac 8 infers the result of
`toArray(DataConverter[]::new)` as `Object[]`; javac 11+ (master, release-2.x)
does not.

   ## Brief change log

     - Cast to `TupleTypeInfo<?>` instead of the raw `TupleTypeInfo` in
`PythonTypeUtils.TypeInfoToDataConverter#typeInfoDataConverter`.

   ## Verifying this change

   Compiled `flink-python` with JDK 8 (1.8.0_504): fails without the change,
compiles with it, and `PythonTypeUtilsTest` passes.
