Because this logic is called in
org.apache.calcite.sql2rel.SqlToRelConverter.convertQuery, which like
`RelMetadataQuery.THREAD_PROVIDERS.set(
JaninoRelMetadataProvider.of(cluster.getMetadataProvider()));`
