On one side, it doesn't require a deep understanding of kernel implementation — only some basic knowledge about the project and its APIs is needed. On the other side, I think it could be a relatively complex task. An end-to-end benchmark may involve many components, such as a workload generator, case runner, metric collector, report generator, and more. It might require considerable effort in terms of preliminary research, technology selection, and architecture design. If you're still interested in working on it, we'd be very happy to have you!
