I don't mean to be a bore but this is a serious issue. I upgraded to the
latest version of Open Office org 3.3 on my macbook and now it will not show
the endnotes to my documents. I have a 400 page book with 23 pages of closely
written endnotes about to go to press and the endnotes have disappeared from
view.
They are there, because if I click on a footnote number in the body of the
text, it takes me to the actual note, but these notes appear without any rhyme
or reason. I laboriously went through every single footnote in order to make
them all reappear at the end of the text. I saved this document but when I
re-opened it again, the endnotes had disappeared. I cannot do any editing
under these circumstances so something needs to be done.
I emailed the document to a colleague who still has version 3.2 but the same
thing occurred - no end notes, so there is some property of the document that
has been created by the OOO 3.3 that prevents end notes from being read.
This is a serious issue for me. Am I alone with this one?
