        Issue Type: FEATURE
           Summary: Command-line conversion options
    Classification: Code
           Product: framework
           Version: version58
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Priority: P3
         Component: ui
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

It would be nice if OpenOffice.org could open a document, save the same
document in a different format, and quit, all from the command line. E.g.:

soffice my-word-file.doc --save-as my-writer-file.odt

or

soffice my-word-file.doc --save-as my-doc.pdf

etc. Then it could be used as a command line conversion tool.

Even better if this use could be achieved without opening a window and without
requiring an X display connection in Linux.
