        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OpenOffice 3.3 ignores locale setting for date format
    Classification: Code
           Product: framework
           Version: OOo 3.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Priority: P3
         Component: ui
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

After installing OpenOffice 3.3 dates are formatted as YY-MM-DD. My 'Locale
setting' is 'English (Canada)' and the default date format should be DD/MM/YY.

In OpenOffice 3.2 dates are formatted correctly according to the 'Locale
setting' as DD/MM/YY.

In OpenOffice 3.3, not only are dates displayed using the wrong format, but the
list of available date formats does not include DD/MM/YY, so a user defined
date format must be created to display the date correctly.

I observed this problem in Writer and Calc.
