The service that stores the MetaData should not commit the provided storage, it
should be done by the storage owner.
Currently the document storage is commited by this service during the storing
process, that affects the performance. Additionally it is more error-prone,
since the implementation that uses the service, does not always transfer the
errors to the framework correctly.
