        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Zoom in OpenOffice on Mac does not follow system
                    preference settings
    Classification: Code
           Product: framework
           Version: OOO330m20
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: ui
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

On my Mac Powerbook (Mac OS 10.6.6), it seems that regardless of the System
Preferences settings, OpenOffice still registers the two-finger/Command-button
combination as a zoom command.

Under System Preferences > Trackpad > Two Fingers, I have disabled "Pinch Open
& Close." For "Screen Zoom," under the options, I set "Zoom While Holding" to
"Control," but disabled "Screen Zoom" anyhow.

Under these settings, the two-finger/Command-button combination does not zoom
in any other application. However, it still zooms in OpenOffice.

This is frustrating because whenever I hold down "Command" to execute a
function such as, say, saving a file (Command-S on the Mac), I inadvertently
zoom in or out if two other fingers (say, from my other hand) are on the
trackpad.

I do realize that one can simply not place the other hand on the trackpad while
doing anything with the Command button. However, it does seem a bit annoying to
keep track of one's hands while doing pretty elementary tasks. Also, I suspect
that other users have experienced this "mystery zooming" without understanding
what was happening, and I wanted to document this so that others might figure
it out as well.
