Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: I cannot remove the OpenOffice settings (preferences)
permanently
Classification: Code
Product: framework
Version: OOo 3.2.1
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows Vista
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: ui
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
I was using Writer, and began to notice that some of my toolbars would no
longer appear automatically when I started up the program. After lots of
attempts to fix the problem, I decided to delete the program from my computer
and re-install it completely. Not only did my OS make it difficult to remove,
but when I finally did, and re-installed the OpenOffice 3.2.1 program, all of
my settings were exactly as before: all my preferences were the same as in the
moment that I deleted the program, and as before, my toolbars were having the
same problem as before (i.e., I had to re-open the individual toolbars every
time I started the program).
