        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OO 3.3 installation allows directory selection, but
                    doesn't install there
    Classification: Code
           Product: framework
           Version: OOo 3.3 RC8
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: scripting
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

When installing 3.3, I chose not to install in c:/program files/... but instead
in d:/program files/... on the D partition of my HD where I already had 3.2.

Instead, 3.3 left my old 3.2 component subdirectories on D: and installed on
C:/program files/, which I did not want.

Now I have 3.2 components on d:/program files/ and 3.3 on c:/program files/.
And when I invoke "Control Panel/add & remove programs" to manually remove 3.2,
it is no longer listed in the program listing. Only 3.3 is listed. I had to use
I/O Bit's "Advanced system care" to force removal of 3.2.

So 3.3 installation, at least when choosing a user-specified location, is not
very clean!

Cheers...

W.
