Having the same or a similar problem.

I've been using Openoffice since v.1.0 and the same hardware, Windows, and HP
printer driver since v.2 with no similar trouble. The issue is only with OOo
v.3.0+

My current setup:
OOo 3.3 (OOO330m20 Build 9567)
Windows XP
HP 1350 All-in-one Printer

Since installing v.3.0+:
1. Loading the HP Printer Options dialog and opening the tabs on that dialog
is EXTREMELY slow. --It was much faster before v.3.0 and does not act this way
printing from any other software.
2. In the HP 1350 "Properties" dialog if I change the paper size, the print
quality changes to "Normal" and similarly, if I change the orientation to
Landscape, the page size and print Quality are always set to "A4" and "Normal"
respectively. These are not system defaults or settings I use often. None of
this happened when I was using earlier versions (before 3.0) or when printing
from other software.
3. If I change things in the right order: the orientation first, then the
quality, then the paper size, these settings will "stick" and I can close the
"properties" dialog (again-extremely slow) and the page will print as desired.
4. If I re-open the "Properties" dialog before or after printing, some of the
settings will usually have changed. eg: The "quality" will have changed to
"normal" and/or the size to A4.
5. None of the modified printer settings are saved with the document as they
were in earlier versions.

Thanks for your help.
