Eric Shu commented on GEODE-2301:
---------------------------------
In docs, we just need to mention that Geode implementation of JTA transaction
manager has been deprecated as of Geode 1.2.0. We should still leave above
mentioned limitation of the Geode implementation (possible inconsistent state).
> Deprecate JTA transaction manager from Geode

> We should deprecate and log a warning when using the JTA transaction manager
> that ships with Geode on the following grounds:
> From
> [documentation|http://geode.apache.org/docs/guide/developing/transactions/JTA_transactions.html#concept_8567sdkbigige]:
> {noformat}
> Geode ships with its own implementation of a JTA transaction manager.
> However, note that this implementation is not XA-compliant;
> therefore, it does not persist any state, which could lead to an inconsistent
> state after recovering a crashed member.
