Summary: Add timestamps to backups to allow for incremental
recovery

Scenario: right now when you do an incremental backup it adds to the previous
backup. This means you have one growing backup file to recover from and no
option to ever recover from a different point-in-time. It would be nice to
allow an option to backup and recover from different points in-time.
