Docs for this change are in the develop branch, but it has not been cherry
picked to the 1.4 release branch. So, while the code change is in Geode 1.4.0,
the documentation for this feature is not in Geode 1.4.0. If there is a need
for a new build to be a release candidate for Geode 1.4.0, this docs commit
will be cherry picked first.
