Geode still depends on \{{commons-lang:commons-lang}}:
view-source:[http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/geode/geode-core/1.4.0/geode-core-1.4.0.pom]
which is about 8 years old.
Would you please consider updating it to
{{{{org.apache.commons:commons-lang3}}}} please?
Same with \{{org.apache.commons:commons-io}} and
{{{{org.apache.commons:commons-digester3}}}}
