The Geode docs appear to use the term "distributed system" in a specialized
way. Readers would rarely discover that the doc use of "distributed system" is
something other than a more standard definition (from Wikipedia):
{quote}A distributed system is a system whose components are located on
different networked computers, which then communicate and coordinate their
actions by passing messages to each other.{quote}
Under this more standard definition, Geode WAN-connected clusters are still a
single distributed system.
The task at hand is to attempt to find and revise all doc prose that refers to
a distributed system such that it uses standard terminology.
