On Linux, running Valgrind memcheck with the following simple app:
```
int main(int argc, const char* argv[])
{
std::string host = "localhost";
int port = 10334;
std::cout << "Connect to locator: " << host << "[" << port << "]\n";
auto cacheFactory = CacheFactory();
cacheFactory.set("log-level", "none");
auto cache = cacheFactory.create();
}
```
leads to a complaint about use of an uninitialized value in this loop in
ResourceInst::writeSample:
```
for (int32_t i = 0; i < numOfDescps; i++) {
...
}
```
