The Attach API cannot be removed until the next major release of Geode. The
--pid option of several GFSH commands requires the Attach API: status server,
status locator, stop server, stop locator. The --pid option has been deprecated
since Geode 1.2 for the purpose of allowing us to remove the dependency on the
Attach API.
