Vadim Lotarev commented on GEODE-6963:
--------------------------------------

[~jujoramos], I looked at the changes - they should fix this issue, will wait
when 1.10 is released. Though fairly speaking I never seen a response whit data
of different types - what is the purpose of sending type for each value in
response array? Wouldn't it be enough to send type just once, this would
decrease response size at least twice for simple queries like one in
description.

> Pulse DataBrowser doesn't work correctly with single field queries

> DataBrowser doesn't show result of the query of single field like:
> {code:java}
> select id from /region
> {code}
> Jackson mapper (that is used now) returns JSON array of simple types
> (strings, integers, etc.) instead of objects. Web client code expects this to
> be an array of objects - so nothing is shown.
