Note: the referenced license is similar to but different than the ASL v1.1
[1]. See the discussion on treatment of ASL v1.1 dependencies [2].
Based on the original review, we may need to file a JIRA with ASF Legal to get
the license approved.
Long-term let's remove this dependency entirely.
