Summary: Merge native client code to develop branch

The native-client-software-grant branch [1] contains the GemFire native client.
In order to merge this code into the develop branch, we need to:
1) Review the code and determine what 3rd party libraries are bundled with the
source and binary distributions. These will need to be properly attributed in
the respective LICENSE and NOTICE files.
2) Update the source headers to remove old copyrights and replace with the
Apache source header.
3) Improve the build process to make it simpler for contributors and users.
This includes writing up build instructions.
4) Incorporate other suggestions from the community.
