The current implementation of numeric fields within Guacamole does not allow
for parameter tokens to be inserted into the field - the underlying JS and/or
HTML implementation of those fields currently blocks all non-numeric input.
There are situations where it would be nice to be able to inject tokens into
these fields, so it's worth exploring some potential way to allow those numeric
fields to accept non-numeric values, but dynamically validate that they have
either a numeric value or a token in them.
