Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-296:
-----------------------------------------

[~cgrossman]: There is no version 1.2.0, yet, it's still being finalized, so I
would not recommend deploying it to production. However, this particular issue
should be resolved in version 1.1.0, so you can try that version, and it is a
released version. It has some bugs we are trying to resolve for the 1.2.0
release, but it is available.

And, no, there is no back-port of the fix to version 1.0.0 - the overall fix
for this was part of the upgrade from FreeRDP 1.x to FreeRDP 2.x, and that was
done in the 1.1.0 release and is not something that can be easily back-ported
to previous versions. However, you should be able to use the Guacamole Client
1.0.0 against later versions of guacd (1.1.0), so you could just upgrade the
guacd side of things and leave Guacamole Client on 1.0.0 if that's a
requirement for you. We recommend keeping them both up-to-date, but we also
built some version handshaking into 1.1.0 that will allow it to be
backward-compatible.

> I know this problem was discussed in resolved thread, but it is a bit
> different, please help me, I tried every thing I was able to find about the
> topic.
> On Windows Server 2012 R2: Audio playback works, but the minute I start
> Sound settings in the "Recording" tab the connection gets disconnected
> immediately. After that it is impossible to connect to the VM with guacamole,
> because it keeps disconnecting immediately, the only why is using a RDP
> client, and closing the Audio settings.
