Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1208:
----------------------------------------
That information is currently not communicated within the Guacamole protocol,
where these files are described as name+type pairs. That information would need
to somehow be added, ideally in a backward-compatible way. Including that
information within a MIME type parameter like {{application/octet-stream;
modified=2020-11-06Z20:49:09}} might make sense, assuming these parameters are
indeed arbitrary and we can define our own (or use an existing one) without
violating standards.

> Currently it is only possible to sort files alphabetically in the File
> Browser. If it were possible to order them alternatively also by
> "modification date" it would facilitate the selection by the user (usually
> you want to download the recently created file).
