Mike Jumper closed GUACAMOLE-1238.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Invalid
I can only reproduce this behavior when connecting with a version of
libvncclient or Guacamole that does not support username/password
authentication for VNC.
Testing with Apache Guacamole 1.2.0 and 1.3.0, and authenticating with the VNC
server using a username and password, things seem to work fine. I don't believe
there is a bug on the Guacamole side in this case.

> Since upgrading my macOS Catalina iMac to Big Sur, I can no longer establish
> a VNC connection to the device. I am running Guacamole 1.2.0 and this was
> working just fine before upgrading to Big Sur. It looks as if Big Sur updated
> the VNC server/client and VNC viewers may need to be updated to work with Big
> Sur.
> As an example, Real VNC released Viewer version 6.20.817 to address this
