The nightly build updates only the "latest" tag, yes. Overall, we have:
* {{latest}} - The latest stable release (currently 1.3.0). This is rebuilt
nightly to keep things up-to-date with respect to the other Docker images and
packages our images depend on.
* {{X.Y.Z}} - The Docker image built at the time version X.Y.Z was released.
This will never be updated - it is a snapshot in time. If ever something breaks
the {{latest}} image, it's important to have that unchanging baseline.
