Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1553:
----------------------------------------
Regarding this specific issue:
This particular build issue has already been resolved via GUACAMOLE-745. The
line of code in question doesn't exist in the current source on git.
Regarding releases:
The 1.5.0 release is already underway, though it does not contain the changes
relevant to this issue. It's a fair point that we absolutely need to find a
better way to produce frequent releases with less manual overhead; I don't
think we can realistically get that process defined and in place prior to
1.5.0. If you have ideas for such a process, input is definitely welcome.

> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: guacamole-server, SSH
> Affects Versions: 1.4.0
> Environment: CentOS 9-Stream
> All packages listed on install page through official repos (AppStream,
> BaseOS, CRB/PowerTools, EPEL, EPEL-Next)
> ffmpeg built from source

> I get errors (See attachments) when building Guacamole as per instructions
> ([https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/installing-guacamole.html)].
> Based off the error messages and some googling I believe this is because
> CentOS 9-Stream installs OpenSSL 3.0.1 14 (Dec 2021) and has no older
> alternatives? - Does Guac expect an older version?
