Welp, I finally figured it out. It should not have taken that long - wow, what
a simple thing to overlook. Pull request for the first part of the fix is in:

I'd appreciate any testing/feedback anyone can do on this. I'm still seeing
some issues with RAIL + GFX not working properly, so I suspect that RAIL
support with GFX requires implementing a few other items (maybe some of the
callbacks that we're missing to handle window moves and such), but this at
least works with FreeRDP3 and doesn't immediately log you off.
