Still stuck on 5.5 and because the term is in process, and the students are
busy, I'm anxious to put 5.6 back because then I start getting a whole slew of
complaints, and people showing up at my door, and phone calls, and teams
messages, text messages, etc - "the remote lab is not working".
I'm running RHEL 8.10 with all the latest patches - freerdp with RHEL8 is
2.11.7-1.el8_10
If we think that compiling an updated version of freerdp could help, and
linking that to guacd, I could try that. This current version works perfectly
with 5.5. No problems at all.
I'm not sure if the GFX setting discussed applies to this freerdp version?
I'm just surprised more people aren't seeing this because our compile really
couldn't be more basic, but I guess people might be running on other OSes.
I guess I could try the docker version as well, but I really do like the
simplicity of everything running without docker.
