Ed Espino commented on HAWQ-952:
--------------------------------
*Regarding COPYRIGHT file*
*Concern:* This is a non-standard Apache software license file. See Apache
documentation relating to NOTICE, LICENSE, source headers.
*Comments:*
* The file is derived from the third-party PostgreSQL COPYRIGHT file. As
expected, for an Apache release, it's contents have been incorporated into the
LICENSE file.
* To honor "TREATMENT OF THIRD-PARTY WORKS" "Do not modify or remove any
copyright notices or licenses within third-party works.", we need to consider
leaving it intact and possibly referencing it in the LICENSE file to help avoid
confusion?

> Per mentor's suggestion, we should not have a separate COPYRIGHT file
> And we need to review which copyright should be in NOTICE file in what way.
