Xiang Sheng commented on HAWQ-1350:
-----------------------------------
Sorry for misleading. This option will enable building hawq with
rps(ranger-plugin-service). Not build hawq with Apache Ranger. So I use rps
instead of ranger.
And without rps, hawq ranger support cannot work. If we do not have this
option, community users should build rps after build hawq. It's not friendly.
If user want to use some features in hawq, do they build them one by one ? No.
They should be build with hawq when configured with option "--enable-feature".
> Add --enable-rps option to build ranger-plugin when build hawq.

> when user wants to build hawq and ranger-plugin, there lacks an option for
> building hawq with the plugin. So there should add the option to configure
> files and related makefiles.
> Then users can build hawq when configure with the option "--enable-rps" and
> "make install" will install the plugin as well.
