I still don't understand.
Regardless of how many versions there are, setting maxVersions to 1 is fine.
That says just return the latest.
You don't need more than one version to be returned for the row to exist. All
you need is the latest version of a single column (FirstKeyOnlyFilter +
maxVersions=1).
