[~sershe] What about readtime boss? Is scanning slowed because more files to
trip over?
There are lots of configs. Can it work well w/ default configs? Can it be
made so user does not have to choose between size and count? We start w/ count
and if we are filling one edge and no others then switch to size? (Could be
later which I think you have suggested doing).
