Digging in on TestRowCount after amending HBaseTestingUtility so that it
preserves the test data output and then being baffled by there being no logs
... then next figuring out that though most of the MR test deitrus can be found
where we asked MR to dump it, the ACTUAL logs are elsewhere under
hbase-server/target/MiniMRCluster_? (because the MiniMRYarn cluster stuff has
'target' hardcoded in a few places) rather than at
hbase-server/target/test-data/TEST_UUID where the other MR stuff is dumped, I
see that JAVA_HOME is not being propagated down to the container -- jobs fail
because can't find java. If I define and export JAVA_HOME in my shell, then
TestRowCount passes. TestCopyTable also passes. Let me clean up my mess
trying to put under tests custom yarn-site.xml and mapred-site.xml and do a
test run to see if this fixes stuff.
