Looking at this now (sorry for the delay [~heliangliang]).
[~stack] The one thing that makes me want to squeeze this in is to reserve
bytes for the additional datatypes in a logical order. I can prepare a 4-line
patch for the RC to make breathing room for the rest. Let me know.
