Looks like a couple other changes were added to the precommit build:

[JDK8] Erasure of PoolMap#remove(K,V) conflicts with superclass method
HBASE-10029 Addendum checks for args against null
HBASE-10029 Proxy created by HFileSystem#createReorderingProxy() should
properly close when connecting to HA namenode

Confirmed no warnings or findbugs contributed by this patch.
