Here's the patch for reference. It is done on top of one or the replica changes
branches and is not applicable to trunk. Also, it includes parts of HBASE-10277
and HBASE-10427.
Due to all of this branching and additional changes going on in trunk e.g.
HBASE-10347, I suspect the patch will eventually have to be manually applied to
whatever trunk + earlier parts of HBASE-10070 turns out to look like.
