Hi Vivek,
this is not the way it works ;) We can not just give you write access.
I will guide you through the steps.
You will need to create and update a patch (see
http://hbase.apache.org/book/submitting.patches.html ).
For that, you will need to retrieve the SVN trunk branch locally (
http://hbase.apache.org/source-repository.html ), do the modification in the
documentation ( src/main/docbkx/book.xml ), create a patch (diff) and upload it
to this JIRA.
Upon approval, one commiter will be able to apply your modification the book.
Just ping us here if there is any of those steps causing you difficulties.
