In a vanilla configuration, running CompressionTest yields the following error:
sudo -u hdfs hbase org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.CompressionTest /path/to/hfile
gz
Output:
13/03/07 14:49:40 ERROR metrics.SchemaMetrics: Inconsistent configuration.
Previous configuration for using table name in metrics: true, new
configuration: false
