first pass at re-enabling this test. had to clean up some null handling in
logging.
reading through things, would testLogRollAfterSplitStart be better placed in
TestLogRollAbort rather than TestHLogSplit? The test is related to splitting,
but AFAICT the desired end result is that the RS should abort, which seems be
the intention of the LogRollAbort class.
