Could be useful to have a separate hbase-rest-protocol module. This is theory
would simplify life for folks who want to generate bindings in their own target
language. In practice, I don't know how much maven will help here.
For instance, I came across this \[0\] the other day, where they have an
old-ish version of the protoc files checked into their own code.
